  • The event dates (Details) decide which days the schedule has. A session must start and end within them.

Preferences

In order on the tab:

  • Who can access this slot?: Anyone or Specific lists. See Restrict a session to specific registrant lists.

  • Enable registration (RSVP required) and its options, including Require RSVP approval and Waitlist mode. See Define session capacity and track RSVPs.

  • Enable ratings and Show in action bar on home page. See Session ratings.

  • This session is virtually oriented: marks the session for virtual attendees. Attendees of hybrid events can filter by Session type: Regular or Virtual oriented.

  • Highlight this session once the event has ended. with Position (1 to 999). The setting only fills the Highlighted column of the Timeslots table; the mobile app, the web app and the schedule widget don't use it.

  • Override track color: a color for this session's cards that differs from the track color. The track's own color is marked "(Track color)" in the list. Clear the field to use the track color again.

What attendees see

The session page shows, from the top: the cover image (or the track's), title and subtitle, tags, the parent session link if any, track, time and location, Watch now when a stream link exists, the map button when a map link exists, ratings, the description, custom fields, the chat entry, sponsors, speakers, Attending (N) with the confirmed registrations, child sessions and Links. Limits

  • Title: 150 characters. Subtitle: 100 characters in the editor.

  • Cover image: 10 MB.

  • Start and end must fall within the event dates; the date picker greys out other days.

  • A networking slot with 5 or more meetings that are not canceled or rejected can't be deleted or moved to another start time. Sessions have no such limit. See Filter, edit and delete sessions and networking slots.

Troubleshooting

The Registrations, Traffic analytics or Ratings tab is missing
The session is not saved yet, or the matching option is off: Registrations needs Enable registration (RSVP required), Ratings needs Enable ratings. Save the session and select Edit again.

"not within event" when saving
The date or time falls outside the event dates in Details. Change the event dates or the session time.
