Add links to a session page, for example a Slido poll, a shared slide deck or a survey. Attendees open them from Links on the session page. In the web app, the same links also appear as tabs beside or below the Watch now player.
Before you start
You need to be an organization admin or an event admin.
The session must exist. The Side Panel button appears only when you edit a saved content slot, not while creating one and not for networking slots.
For the session page's Links list, use a URL that works on its own, such as a poll, shared slide deck or survey.
For a tab inside the web Watch now page, the destination must allow embedding. Use the provider's embed URL when it requires one. The session also needs a Stream/Video Url to show Watch now.
Note: Session links are part of the public schedule data. The public schedule API returns them to anyone who knows your event. Do not put secrets in a link.
Where to find it
Content > Schedule > Timeslots in the admin panel. Select Edit on a session. The Side Panel button is at the bottom left of the session editor. It opens the Side Panel (Integrations) drawer.
Add a link
Select Edit on the session.
Select Side Panel.
Under Side bar integrations (slido, etc), select New.
Enter a Title.
Enter the Url. Use the full address, starting with
https://.Select Create.
Open the session as an attendee and test the link. If the session has a video, also open Watch now in the web app and test its tab.
Both fields are required ("Title is required!", "Url is required!").
Edit, reorder or delete a link
Select Edit next to a link to change its Title or Url, then select Update.
Drag a link to change the order. The order is saved at once.
To remove a link, select Edit, then Delete, and confirm "Are you sure?".
Personalize a link
You can put these placeholders in a URL. When an attendee opens one of these links from Links (N), the mobile app and the web app replace the placeholders with the signed-in attendee's data:
BRELLA_ATTENDEE_ID: the attendee's Brella IDBRELLA_ATTENDEE_FIRST_NAMEBRELLA_ATTENDEE_LAST_NAMEBRELLA_ATTENDEE_EMAIL
Example: https://example.com/survey?user=BRELLA_ATTENDEE_ID.
Test the final personal link with a sample attendee. The placeholders are replaced only in the app. The public schedule API returns the link as written. The schedule widget on your event website does not show session links.
What attendees see
On the session page, a Links (N) section lists every link with the site's icon, the title and the address. Selecting a link opens it in the browser. The mobile app and the web app show the same list.
In the web app, Watch now opens the session's video page. The links become embedded tabs: beside the video on wide windows and below it on narrow windows. Chat is another tab when session chat is on. The mobile app opens the session's video URL in the browser or video provider's app.
Limits
Title and Url are required. The Url must be a valid
http://orhttps://address.A linked site can block embedding. If it does, attendees can still open its standalone link from the session page's Links list.
Not available for networking slots.
Troubleshooting
The Side Panel button is missing
You are creating a new session, or the session is a networking slot. Save the session first, then select Edit.
"Url is required!" or the link is not saved
The address is empty or not a valid web address. Enter the full address starting with https://.
A tab is blank on the Watch now page
Check that the provider allows embedding and that you used its required embed URL. Test the standalone link from Links on the session page. See Use third-party tools in Brella.
