Show your event schedule as a grid, timeline or list on your website. Visitors can search sessions and open their details.
Note: Website widgets V2 are scheduled to launch on 1 November 2026. These steps apply once V2 is available in your event.
Before you start
Add your sessions, times and tracks in Brella. See Create content slots.
Check that the tracks you want to show are enabled.
Review the public preview before adding it to your website. It does not show an attendee's personal meetings or apply their registrant-list access. Check that the displayed sessions are intended for your public website.
Arrange access to your website's HTML/embed area, or ask your web developer to install the code.
Where to find it
Widgets > Schedule in the admin panel.
Configure and embed the schedule
Choose Layout: Grid for tracks as columns, Timeline for tracks as rows, or List for sessions in time order.
Choose Time format: 12-hour or 24-hour. Times use the event's time zone.
Under Days, choose a Starting day. To open with all days together, clear Starting day and turn on All days.
Under Tracks and filters, choose Tracks at start if you want particular tracks selected initially.
Choose Chips under the search: Tracks, Tags, Locations or No chip row. Tags and locations are offered when the event has them.
Select Desktop and Phone above the preview to check both layouts.
Select a session in the preview to check its details.
Select Copy embed code and give the complete code to your web developer, or select Share with developer.
The developer link opens a public page with the code and preview. After installation, open your website and check the days, search and session details there.
Copy the code or share link before leaving or switching tabs. The builder does not save your options.
Choose the starting view
Tracks at start selects tracks initially. Visitors can change that selection through track chips or Filters. Keep Tracks selected under Chips under the search, or leave the Filters button visible when using another chip row. This setting does not restrict access to the schedule data.
For a two-day conference, leave the day picker visible and select a starting day. Choose Tracks for the chips so visitors can compare stages.
For a compact program overview, clear Starting day and turn on All days. The widget uses a list while all days are selected, even when Grid or Timeline is configured. A selected starting day or a day carried in a session link takes precedence over the all-days opening view.
If Starting day is empty, the schedule opens on today or the next day with sessions. After all session days have passed, it uses the first matching day.
Settings
Setting | What it changes |
Speakers’ job titles | Adds job titles beside companies on schedule tiles. |
Hide the day picker | Removes the day controls. Check that the starting view contains the days you want visitors to see. |
Hide the Filters button | Removes the Filters button. Search and the selected chip row remain. |
List layout on phones | Uses a list at narrow widths. Turn it off only after checking the result on your website. |
Fixed height | Makes the schedule scroll inside a box. Enter its Height. |
Column width | Sets grid column width; for Timeline, it sets row height. Empty lets grid columns share the available width. |
The last three options are under Advanced. Turning off Advanced hides the controls without clearing their settings.
What visitors see
Visitors can choose a day, search sessions, select chips and open Filters. When the day picker is visible, a single available day appears as text instead of day controls.
Selecting a session opens its time, place and available content, including speakers, sponsors and child sessions.
Troubleshooting
The preview shows a list instead of a grid
Check All days and List layout on phones. Select Desktop or widen the browser to inspect the grid.
No sessions on this day
Choose another day. Check the session dates and enabled tracks in Brella if an expected session is missing.
A search or chip selection hides sessions
Select Show everything to clear the search and chip selections. Check Filters separately if you also applied filters there.
There is no track chip row
Track chips need more than one available track. Tag and location chips only show values used by the loaded sessions.
