Add your event's schedule, speakers, sponsors or ticket shop to your website. Configure the widget in Brella, then copy its code or share it with your web developer.

Note: Website widgets V2 are scheduled to launch on 1 November 2026. These steps apply once V2 is available in your event.

Before you start

  • You need access to the event in the admin panel.

  • Add the event content you want visitors to see before configuring its widget.

  • You or your web developer need access to add embed code to your website.

The preview uses your event's public data. Check the content before sharing the widget.

Where to find it

Open your event and select Widgets in the admin panel. Choose Schedule, Speakers, Sponsors or Ticketing.

Build the widget

  1. Select the tab for the content you want to show.

  2. Under Look, choose Theme and Accent colour. Choose Follow the event to use the event's light or dark theme.

  3. Set the options for that widget. The preview updates as you change them.

  4. Select Desktop and Phone above the preview to check both widths.

  5. Open a session, speaker or sponsor in the preview to check its details. For a ticket shop, choose tickets and check Details and Review instead.

  6. Turn on Advanced if you need its additional options.

Turning off Advanced hides its controls; it does not remove your choices from the widget.

Copy the code or share link before changing tabs or leaving the page. Options are not saved in the admin panel. Switching tabs, reloading or returning to the page starts a fresh configuration.

Add it to your website

  1. Select Copy embed code. Embed code copied confirms the copy.

  2. Paste the complete code into your website's HTML/embed area where the widget belongs, or give it to your web developer.

  3. Open the website page and check the widget's content, width and details.

For a website with several widgets or pages that change without reloading, use Install website widgets V2.

Share it with your web developer

  1. Select Share with developer.

  2. Copy the link from Link for your developer if it was not copied automatically.

  3. Send the link to the person editing your website.

The link opens a public page with Embed code, Preview, Setup, Options and Styling. Your developer can select Copy embed code there. They do not need a Brella account.

Anyone with the link can read the configuration, including a preset ticket discount code. Share it with the people who need to install or review the widget.

The link contains the options you selected when copying it. If you change those options, select Share with developer again and send the new link.

Update a widget already on your website

Open Widgets, choose the same tab and set the options again. Copy the new code and replace the existing embed on your website.

Keep a copy of the code or developer link as a reference. There is no import action for loading it back into the builder.

Troubleshooting

Couldn’t copy to the clipboard

For a share link, select the link field in the popover and copy it manually. Your developer can also select and copy the code on the public page.

The preview does not show a content change

Keep your code or share link first, then reload the page. Reapply your options if needed.

The ticket preview does not allow payment

Purchases are disabled in the preview. It lets you check the flow without creating an order.
