Hide the agenda from attendees without deleting it, or hide only the Schedule page or only the My Schedule tab. You can also rename the Schedule tab.
Before you start
You need to be an organization admin or an event admin.
Turning the schedule off keeps every session, slot, track, tag and location. Nothing is deleted.
Turning the schedule off also hides networking slots. The meeting request flow then shows no time slot section, the Reschedule and Suggest meeting actions are hidden, and the availability step is skipped when attendees join.
Warning: Turning the schedule off does not hide sessions from the schedule widget on your website or from the public schedule API. Both keep listing every session. Remove the widget from your website if the agenda must not be public.
Where to find it
Content > Schedule > Settings, section General (Use schedule) and section Visibility settings.
Content > Schedule shows the Set-up the event schedule page while the schedule is off.
Customization > Tabs for the tab name and order.
Turn the whole schedule off
Open Content > Schedule > Settings.
Under General, turn off Use schedule ("Turning it off won't delete your data.").
The admin panel now shows the Set-up the event schedule page instead of the Schedule tabs. In the app, the Schedule page and the My Schedule tab disappear.
Turn the schedule back on
Open Content > Schedule.
On Set-up the event schedule, choose a layout: Timeline, Linear or List. Timeline is preselected. This becomes the Default schedule view and replaces the previous value.
Select Activate schedule.
The Schedule tabs return with the message "Schedule activated! Next, add your meeting slots and schedule, or return to Overview." All content is as you left it. Skip for now leaves the schedule off and opens Home.
Hide only part of the schedule
Under Visibility settings, two switches work while Use schedule is on:
Show "Schedule" view + sessions in search: off hides the Schedule page and removes the Schedule category from the app search. The My Schedule tab stays, without its Add sessions button.
Show "My Schedule" view: off removes the My Schedule tab. The Schedule page stays.
Use these when, for example, attendees need only their bookmarks and meetings, or when the agenda is not final yet but meetings must stay bookable.
Rename or move the Schedule tab
Open Customization > Tabs.
In the Schedule row, enter the new name. Required ("Tab name is required."), up to 14 characters ("Tab name cannot exceed 14 characters."), unique among the tabs ("Tab name must be unique."). Choose an icon next to it.
Drag the row to change its position in the app menu.
Select Save changes. The message "Tabs updated" confirms it.
The My schedule row sits under the Home row with the other fixed tabs and takes its name from the Schedule tab ("My " + the Schedule tab name). It can't be renamed or moved. When Use schedule is off, the Schedule row is striped with the tooltip "This feature is disabled", and the My schedule row says "This feature is disabled. Turn on "Use schedule" and "Show My Schedule view" in Schedule settings."
Settings
Setting | What it does | Default |
Use schedule | Schedule on or off for the event and the admin panel. | Off for a new event; on after Activate schedule |
Show "Schedule" view + sessions in search | Schedule page and sessions in search. | On |
Show "My Schedule" view | My Schedule tab. | On |
Tab name (Customization > Tabs) | Name of the Schedule page in the app. | "Schedule" |
What attendees see
Schedule on: Schedule (or the name your organizer gave it) in the menu and the My Schedule tab (or "My " + that name) in the bottom bar or left menu.
Use schedule off: neither appears, and the search has no Schedule category.
Show "Schedule" view + sessions in search off: no Schedule page, no Schedule category in search; My Schedule still lists bookmarks, reservations and meetings.
Show "My Schedule" view off: no My Schedule tab; the Schedule page still works.
The mobile app and the web app behave the same. The tab set is read when the attendee opens the event; attendees already in the event see the change after they reopen it.
Limits
Tab name: 14 characters.
The Settings tab, and with it both visibility switches, is reachable only while Use schedule is on.
The schedule widget and the public schedule API ignore Use schedule and the visibility switches.
Troubleshooting
Content > Schedule only shows "Set-up the event schedule"
The schedule is off. Choose a layout and select Activate schedule.
Attendees don't see My Schedule
Show "My Schedule" view is off, or Use schedule is off.
The Schedule row in Customization > Tabs is striped
Use schedule is off. Turn the schedule on first.
Sessions still show on the event website after turning the schedule off
The schedule widget does not read Use schedule. Remove the widget from the website.
