Ticket Type - Configuring Permissions & Access

The Permissions & access tab allows you to control exactly what attendees in a specific list can see and do.

While Ticket Type Lists set a baseline of permissions, Custom Lists always override Ticket Type Lists if there is a conflict.


Profile Badge

This helps other attendees quickly identify VIPs, Sponsors, Staff, or Speakers directly from their profiles.

Show profile badge: Toggle this ON to display a visual "pill" or badge on the attendee's profile within the event app.


Permissions

This section governs how members of this list can interact with other participants.


  • Enable networking - Master toggle. Turn this ON to allow members to meet and message others. Turning it OFF disables all networking for this group.

  • Allow sending requests to - Define which specific lists your members are allowed to send meeting requests to. (e.g., Allow "Sponsors" to send requests to "Attendees").

  • Allow receiving requests from - Define which specific lists are allowed to send meeting requests to your members.

  • Limit meeting requests sent - Cap how many meeting requests each member can send. Select No limit or choose Limit to... and enter a maximum number (e.g., 12).

  • Limit confirmed meetings - Cap how many meetings a member can successfully confirm. Select No limit or choose Limit to

  • Lead scanning - Toggle ON/OFF. Determines if members can scan and collect leads from other attendees.

  • Show QR code - Toggle ON/OFF. Allows members to see the QR code on the event mobile app.

  • Show invites in app - Toggle ON/OFF. If ON, invited registrants can see the event on the app home page.

Content & Communications Access

This section allows you to gate specific event content and communications based on the attendee's list membership.

You can manage access to the following modules by clicking the Manage button next to each item:

  • Sessions & timeslots – Control which agenda items are visible.

  • Custom pages – Restrict access to specific custom information pages.

  • Stories – Manage visibility of social or media stories.

  • Featured tiles – Control what content appears in the event lobby.

  • Spaces – Restrict access to specific virtual rooms or networking areas.

  • Pitch reels – Control access to pitch content.

  • Streams – Manage live stream visibility.

  • Announcements – Target specific announcements to this list.

  • Custom emails – Manage email campaigns/ custom emails.
