Deep link reference

C
Written by Customer Success

Every screen that the mobile app and the web app open from a URL. For how deep links behave, see Use deep links to open screens in the app.

URL structure

Inside an event:

https://next.brella.io/events/<event slug>/<path>

Outside an event:

https://next.brella.io/<path>

  • For a white-label app, replace next.brella.io with <organization slug>.brella.io.

  • brella:// in place of https://next.brella.io/ opens the same screen when the app is installed.

  • IDs in paths are the numbers you see in the web app's address bar when you open the item. Copy the URL from there instead of typing it.

  • A link must match a path in the tables in full. Any other path opens no screen: a closed mobile app opens on My events, an open app stays on its current screen, and the web app shows My events.

Copy a session link

  1. Sign in to the web app and open your event.

  2. Open Schedule.

  3. Open the session you want to share.

  4. Select the browser's address bar and copy the complete address.

Fictional example:

https://next.brella.io/events/example-event/session/12345

Use the address copied from your event. Keep its host, event slug and session ID; do not replace them with the example values.

A tab link works only when the attendee has that tab. My Schedule needs the schedule and the My Schedule view. Networking needs networking access for the attendee. QR Code needs lead scanning and a QR code or scan rights for the attendee. A link to a tab the attendee doesn't have opens the Home tab.

Shows "Get the event mobile app to share your profile card"

On the web app, the same paths without /events/<event slug> open the account screens outside an event.

Paths not to share

These paths appear in the web app's address bar during a flow and need data from the previous screen: /select-timeslot, /meeting-action, /meeting-suggest, /chat-suggest/<attendee id>, /video-call, and /onboarding with its steps (/onboarding/personal-info, /onboarding/get-started, /onboarding/identity, /onboarding/interests, /onboarding/introduction, /onboarding/availability, /onboarding/pre-booked-meetings). They are not destinations. The signed-out paths /event-welcome/<code>, /login, /auth, /create-account, /check-your-email and /legal are not destinations either.
