The welcome screen is the first screen attendees see when they join your event in the mobile app or the web app. Set its image, title and welcome text.

Before you start

  • You need to be an organization admin or an event admin.

  • Desktop image: 1920 x 2560 px recommended (3:4), with the important content inside the middle 1360 x 1760 px.

  • Mobile image: 940 x 360 px recommended.

  • JPEG and PNG are preferred. Keep each image under 5 MB.

Where to find it

Customization > Welcome Screen in the admin panel.

Set up the welcome screen

  1. Open Customization > Welcome Screen.

  2. Under Welcome image > Desktop, select Click to add image and choose a file. In the Crop image panel, keep text and logos out of the red area, then select Ok.

What attendees see

  • The pre-title, title, subtitle and description, with a Get started button at the bottom.

  • In the mobile app and in the web app on windows narrower than 1024 px, the image sits above the text.

  • On web windows 1024 px and wider, the text is on the left and the image fills the right half of the screen. The image stays on the next step, where attendees enter their personal information. The image is cropped to fit the window, so keep important content in the middle.

  • The welcome screen is the first step of joining with both onboarding modes.

  • The app doesn't show the event dates or city on the welcome screen.

  • The Mobile image can be up to 5 MB after cropping. Keep the Desktop image under 5 MB too, as the page asks.

  • Text limits: 75 characters for Pre-title, Title and Subtitle; 500 characters for Description.

No Mobile image is set (or, on wide web windows, no Desktop or Mobile image). Add one and save.

Save changes is disabled
Nothing has changed, or a field has an error. Fix the field marked in red, for example "Pre-title can't be longer than 75 characters." or "Please input description."

Text or a logo in the image is cut off on a wide screen
The web app crops the Desktop image to fit the window. Keep important content in the middle 1360 x 1760 px of the image.
