With Brella custom fields, you will be defining a specific field to be used to store additional data within various objects in Brella. They can be edited and viewed via our public API, CSVs, and the Admin Panel.
How to add a custom field
A custom field can be added using the following steps
Go to the admin panel manager.brella.io
Click on 'Custom content' and then 'Custom fields'
Click 'Create new custom field'
Enter a field name - This is what you will see on the admin panel and is just an internal name for you to recognize the field you have created
Enter a field key - This is what you will see in the integration APIs and CSVs.
Select the Brella object you want to assign this custom field to and click 'Create'
Currently, we have the ability to assign a custom field only to 'Invites', and you can see the custom field you assigned by clicking on the 'Create a new invite' button in the People tab, Invites section.
"Advanced option" in the custom field
You can enable custom fields, such as the phone number of an attendee. This will be shown for the sponsors in the Sponsor panel in the Scans view and the event admin panel for Sponsors.
The field is visible only when there is some data to be shown.
The data is also shown in the Scans export file.
