Choose how the mobile app, the web app and the sponsor widget order sponsors: alphabetically within each category, or in an order you set by dragging. Categories always appear in the order you set on the Categories tab.
Before you start
You need to be an organization admin or an event admin.
The sponsors feature must be on. If Sponsors shows "Sponsors feature is not active", select Activate.
Create at least one category first. Until then the Sponsors tab is disabled and the tab row is hidden.
Dragging sponsors has no visible effect in the apps until Sponsor display order is set to Custom order. The default is Alphabetical (A-Z).
Where to find it
Display order: Sponsors > Settings > General > Sponsor display order in the admin panel.
Sponsor order: Sponsors > Sponsors in the admin panel.
Category order: Sponsors > Categories in the admin panel.
How the apps order sponsors
Categories come first, in the position you set on the Categories tab.
Inside a category, sponsors follow Sponsor display order:
Alphabetical (A-Z): by company name, ignoring case.
Custom order: by the position you set by dragging on the Sponsors tab.
The same order applies to the mobile app, the web app and the sponsor widget. The admin panel's Sponsors tab always lists sponsors by their custom position, whatever the setting.
Turn on custom order
Open Sponsors > Settings.
Under General, open the Sponsor display order list.
Choose Custom order. The change saves at once.
To go back to alphabetical order, choose Alphabetical (A-Z). Your custom positions are kept.
Reorder sponsors within a category
Open Sponsors > Sponsors.
In the category list (default All categories), choose one category. The drag handle appears at the start of each row.
Drag a row by its handle to a new place. The new position saves at once with "Changes saved successfully."
The drag handle is hidden while All categories is selected or while a search is active. Typing in Search by name switches the list to All categories and disables the category list until you clear the search.
Reorder categories
Open Sponsors > Categories.

What attendees see
Attendees see the categories in your category order. Inside each category they see sponsors alphabetically, or in your custom order when Custom order is on. The sponsor widget on your website follows the same setting.
Limits
Sponsors can only be dragged within one category. To move a sponsor to another category, change its Category in Edit Details, or select rows and use Change category.
A sponsor moved to another category goes to the end of that category.
The Sponsors tab shows 10 sponsors per page by default. Change the page size at the bottom of the table (10, 50, 100, 200 or 500) to drag across a longer list.
Troubleshooting
I dragged sponsors but the app still shows them alphabetically
Sponsor display order is Alphabetical (A-Z). Set it to Custom order in Sponsors > Settings > General.
There is no drag handle on the rows
Choose a single category in the category list and clear the search field.
