Drag categories and interests into a new order in Matchmaking > Overview and select Save changes. Attendees then see them in that order when they select interests. Personas, industries and functions are reordered the same way in Matchmaking > Identity.
Before you start
You need to be an organization admin or an event admin.
Matchmaking must be on. While it is off, Matchmaking shows only the start page.
Reordering changes positions only. No selections are deleted.
Where to find it
Matchmaking > Overview and Matchmaking > Identity in the admin panel.
Reorder categories
Open Matchmaking > Overview.
In Category, drag a category up or down to its new place.
Select Save changes.
Reorder interests within a category
Open Matchmaking > Overview.
In Category, select the category. Its interests appear in Interests.
In Interests, drag an interest to its new place.
Select Save changes.
An interest stays in its category; dragging can't move it to another category. The Intents column has a fixed order (Networking, Trading, Investment, Recruitment, Mentoring) and can't be reordered.
Reorder personas, industries and functions
Open Matchmaking > Identity. The tab exists only while identity is on.
Open the Persona, Industry or Function tab (or the custom name you gave it).
Drag an item to its new place.
Select Save changes. The admin panel shows Identity settings saved.
What attendees see
The interests list shows categories in your order and, within each category, interests in your order. This applies to the Select your interests step while joining and to Edit my interests.
The Interest filter in People lists interests in the same order.
Persona, industry and function choices appear in your order, during joining and in the People filters.
Existing selections are unchanged.
Limits
You can't drag a row while you are editing a name. Select the check icon or press Enter to save the name first, or press Escape to cancel.
Save changes is unavailable until you change something, and while an interest has no intent.
If you leave Overview or Identity without saving, the tab shows You have unsaved changes with Restore and Discard the next time you open it.
