Onboarding Questions in Custom Fields

Admins can now manage onboarding questions directly from the Custom Fields section in the Brella Admin Panel.
This guide explains how to set up, customize, and manage onboarding questions for your event.

1. Create your custom fields first

You must have already created custom fields in the Custom Fields section before you can set up onboarding questions.

2. Custom fields must be assigned to "Registrants."

Onboarding questions can only be assigned to custom fields that are specifically assigned to "Registrants."


How to Create Onboarding Questions

  1. Navigate to your event dashboard.

  2. Go to Custom Content, then Custom Fields

  3. Click the Onboarding questions.

  4. Add questions.

5. Create the question.

Custom field

Select the field from the dropdown.

Required field

Whether attendees must fill it out or not.

Question Title

Question name.

Question Description
(Not Mandatory)

Further details about the question.

Question asked in

Where the question will be asked during the registrant onboarding.



"Question asked in" - How it will look on the app.




Personal Information - Under the attendee profile, personal information.


Personalize your profile - Under matchmaking.



Managing Onboarding Questions

  1. Reordering Questions - Drag and drop any question to change its order.


  2. Editing a Question - Click on the created question to edit.


  3. Deleting a Question - Click on the created question to delete.



Default questing cannot be edited or deleted. Only the created questions can be managed.
