Featured Tiles for Your Event App

Highlight your event’s key content with customizable Featured Tiles on your app’s homepage. These prominent tiles serve as quick-access shortcuts, directing attendees to the most important information, including the schedule, speakers, sponsors, attendees, and third-party content.


How Featured Tiles Work

Featured Tiles provide a visually engaging way to:

  • Promote high-priority content (sessions, speakers, sponsors).

  • Apply smart filters to refine what attendees see upon tapping.

Where Can You Link Featured Tiles?

Tiles can direct attendees to:

  • Attendee list

  • Speaker list (with optional pre-set filters) or individual speaker profile

  • Sponsor list (with optional pre-set filters) or individual sponsor profile

  • Schedule (with optional pre-set filters)

  • External links (e.g., event website, videos)

How to Set Up Featured Tiles

  1. Go to Admin Panel > Customization > Featured Tiles and click on Enable.




  2. You can design the grids by clicking the "Add row" option.


  3. You can select the suitable pattern out of the given 3 options:
    "Heading, 1 Tile, 2 Tiles"



  4. Customize the design (text, color, image, layout).
    The text field is optional and can be left empty. The tile can have either an image or a background color (using a theme color or a custom color).

    If you are using an image, it should be
    The ratio 5:3 (1000 x 600px)

    JPEG and PNG formats are preferred


  5. Under Navigation, it can be linked to the given options with the app, such as attendees, speakers, schedule, etc.

    You can direct attendees to either the full speaker list or the full sponsor list with one click, or link to an individual sponsor or speaker.
    Eg:



    When adding the schedule, you can filter by location and track.
    For schedule, sponsors, and speakers, you can also filter by any custom fields you have set up (see here how to enable custom fields).
    To use custom fields, simply type the values into the dropdown below.



    You can easily link Featured Tiles to external websites, videos, or other online resources, giving attendees quick access to important content outside of Brella.


  6. You can also edit the layout settings.


  7. When it's finished, save and preview in your app.

  8. You can adjust or remove the added tiles.
