This new feature will provide the event organizer with the ability to choose specific sponsor categories to be displayed in a separate tab (page,) rather than being limited to viewing all sponsors on the main sponsor tab.
This added functionality is especially useful for events that have a large number of sponsors and allows for greater customization and control over the display of sponsor information. By giving users the ability to select which sponsor categories to display, this feature also enhances usability and makes it easier for attendees to find the information they are looking for.
How to create custom sponsor tabs
Click "Sponsors"
Click "Tabs"
Click "Add new"
Enter a "Tab name"
Select a 'Tab icon' from the dropdown
Type in how you want the tab URL to be named
Select "Categories to show" in the tab
Click "Create"
You will be able to see the tab you created
On the right-hand side of the tab created you will see the option to delete/edit the tab created
Click "Finish"
On the event front end the attendees will see the general sponsor tab
And also the custom sponsor tab created
✍️Points to note:
You will have to create the categories first for them to appear in the selection at this point.
Categories can be assigned to only one tab at a time. Categories that have not been allocated to a specific tab will remain on the main sponsor tab.
If you assign all the categories you have created to custom sponsor tabs, the main sponsor tab will be empty.
Once all the details are filled in, click 'Create'
You will be able to see the tabs you create under the 'Tabs' section and each tab will have delete and edit controls on the right-hand side.
❗If you have any 'Banner ads' enabled for the sponsors, they will be visible in all the custom tabs you create regardless of the categories you select to add on each tab.
