You can control the color theme of the Brella navigation bar as part of the event branding settings. This affects how the navigation elements appear in both Web and Native apps.
How to use (steps)
Access the Branding Settings
Go to manager.brella.io and open your event.
Navigate to Customization > Branding.
Select Branding Mode
You can choose between two branding modes:
Curated Themes
This option includes handpicked themes designed for accessibility and visual consistency. You can customize:
Accent color: Used for buttons, links, tabs, and other CTAs.
Appearance: Choose between Light Mode or Dark Mode.
Select Save changes to ensure your selection is saved
Advanced Theming
This mode gives full control over the event color palette. You can manually define theme colors, but accessibility is not guaranteed.
Suitable for organizers with strict branding requirements who need to override default theme colors.
Select Save changes to ensure your color selection is saved
Depending on the colors you choose, the Light appearance may not be available. In some cases, you can still select either Light or Dark Mode.
β οΈ We recommend using curated themes
We cannot guarantee product accessibility in advanced theming as Brella generates colors from user's input
Highlight color (optional) : Defines visual accents across the app, such as the underline for selected navigation tabs, active section indicators, and focus outlines β helping guide user attention to active or selected elements.
If you choose Lime Green as Highlight color, for example, you will see below highlighted areas in Lime Green
